Threadlockers

Loctite's threadlockers resolve the common issue of bolts loosening, which occurs in most threaded assemblies. They are more practical than mechanical devices, which do not fill gaps between threads that fit together and do not maintain pretensioning, as assemblies fastened with mechanical devices often loosen in the presence of vibrations, thermal expansion and/or incorrect tightening.

These gaps are filled by LOCTITE threadlockers, increasing the reliability of threaded assemblies considerably, and preventing them from becoming loose.

LOCTITE threadlockers:

Secure metal couplings to stop them loosening due to vibrations and knocks
Seal and protect against corrosion
Guarantee sufficient lubrication to obtain controlled torque when tightening
