Carbon Neutral News Story

At Antifriction, we’re proud to announce that our business is officially carbon neutral for the fourth-year running! We’ve been offsetting our emissions with the help of Carbon Neutral Britain since 2022. While our business has grown considerably over the past five years, we’re determined that our carbon footprint won’t grow with it.

In 2026, Antifriction is supporting four carbon offset projects around the world.

These include a wind farm in Mongolia, a solar light project in Zambia, a wind turbine construction project in Maharashtra, India, as well as a methane capture and power generation project in the Netherlands.

Each of these projects have been chosen as they meet at least four of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. For example, the wind power construction project in India is a 20-year project that aims to build infrastructure, provide clean and affordable energy, accelerate economic growth, all while working to combat the climate crisis.

As well as offsetting Antifriction’s emissions, we’ve also been working hard as a business to actively reduce our energy consumption. In the past two years we have introduced lower emission vehicles to our company fleet and installed solar panels at our HQ in Bristol. Stay tuned to hear more about the positive changes we’re making!
